JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them. Any deviations to the process must be recorded and corrective actions must be placed to avoid recurrence.
  • Proactively audit processes, practices, and documents to identify weaknesses and ensure compliance.
  • Regularly evaluate business activities to assess compliance risk.
  • Developing new practices and methodologies for the measurement of compliance risk;
  • Provides reports regularly, as directed or requested, to keep the Management informed of the operations and progress of compliance efforts;
  • Ensuring that government regulations, policies, and procedures are followed by the company.
  • Conducting an annual review of all business processes to ensure compliance with the policies and guidelines.
  • Communicating new guidelines issued by Management to various departments of the company, thereby ensuring compliance with the guidelines issued;
  • Ensuring that all employees within the company are trained in regulatory and process compliance-related matters and are performing their functions in compliance with the rules, regulations and company's internal policies;
  • Providing support and proper guidance to all departments, including operations that have queries related to regulatory and process compliance.
  • Perform other ad-hoc activities that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Certification in customer service or healthcare management is a plus.
  • With proven experience in risk management and as a Compliance Officer.
  • Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards, with knowledge on legal requirements and controls.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new IT systems.
  • A confident independent worker and a collaborative team player with proven people management skills
