JOB DESCRIPTION

Laundry Duties:

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothing, linens, and other textiles.
  • Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washing machines, dryers, and pressing machines.
  • Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of laundry supplies.
  • Inspect items for stains or damages before and after cleaning.
  • Ensure proper care of delicate fabrics and special items.

Sewing and Repair Duties:

  • Perform minor repairs on garments, such as stitching, patching, and hemming.
  • Replace buttons, zippers, and other fasteners on clothing and linens as needed.
  • Alter garments to meet specific size or fit requirements.
  • Use sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques for precise repairs.
  • Maintain sewing tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a laundry or sewing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of laundry techniques and fabric care.
  • Ability to operate sewing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Amenable to work in Angeles City, Pampanga
