Job description:

We need a Purchasing Officer to make purchases of products that are necessary for our business's day-to-day operations. You'll look at prices and quality and make sure there are enough supplies.

Vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and report preparation are all part of the Purchasing Officer's duties. You should be well-versed in market research and possess strong analytical abilities to identify the most lucrative offers. Build and maintain strong relationships with important suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Researching products and locating new vendors and suppliers.

Sourcing materials, goods, services, and negotiating contracts and deals that are either the best or most cost-effective.

Reordering supplies and stock as necessary and carrying out inventory inspections.

Inspecting the stock and immediately reporting any inconsistent or defective items.

Keeping records of all orders, payments, and stock received up to date.

Following up on orders that have been rescheduled or orders that have been delayed by coordinating with the delivery team.

Forming professional connections with customers, suppliers, and vendors.

Ensuring that all stock is appropriately packaged and delivered on time to the appropriate location.
