The Accounting & Operations Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting, payroll, and statutory compliance for the Philippine office, while providing accounting and operational support to affiliated Middle East offices. This role requires strong technical accounting expertise, deep knowledge of Philippine tax and statutory regulations, and the ability to work independently while meeting strict reporting deadlines.

Core Accounting & Operations (Philippine Office)

Prepare and issue Export Services invoices from the Philippine office to affiliated Middle East entities.

Perform end-to-end bookkeeping, ensuring accurate and up-to-date maintenance of:

Invoice Register

Bank Payments Register

Receipts Register

Purchase Register

General Ledger

Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring completeness and accuracy of records.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements, including:

Profit & Loss Statement

Balance Sheet

Cash Flow Statement

Liaise with banks and other financial institutions as required.

Payroll Administration

Manage the complete payroll cycle for all Philippine-based employees.

Ensure accurate computation of salaries, allowances, benefits, and statutory deductions.

Prepare payroll reports and ensure timely salary disbursement.

Philippine Government Compliance (Mandatory)

Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)

Prepare, file, and pay all mandatory taxes, including but not limited to:

Withholding Taxes (WHT)

Value Added Tax (VAT)

Annual Corporate Income Tax

Ensure strict compliance with BIR regulations, documentation requirements, and filing deadlines.

Statutory Contributions

Social Security System (SSS):

Prepare and submit monthly contributions, loan amortizations, and required quarterly/annual reports.

PhilHealth:

Manage monthly contributions and ensure timely filing of all related reports.

Pag-IBIG Fund:

Administer monthly contributions, submit required reports, and manage annual compliance requirements.

Support to Middle East Offices

Accounts Receivable Support:

Assist Middle East teams in monitoring, reconciling, and following up on outstanding customer collections.

Invoicing Support:

Provide assistance in the preparation and issuance of customer invoices as requested.

Audit Assistance:

Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

Requirements:

Education & Certification

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in:

General accounting

Full-cycle bookkeeping

Financial reporting

Extensive, hands-on experience in BIR tax preparation, filing, and compliance (WHT, VAT, Corporate Income Tax) — non-negotiable.

Proven experience in payroll processing and management of SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG contributions and reporting.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and local tax regulations.

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.

Good written and verbal English communication skills.

High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Willing to work on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
