Job Description

About the job 

Reporting to the Shopkeeper, this Team Leader's responsibilities are developing and executing sales steering, selling the IKEA way, range grouping, pricing, range management and launches. To develop sales in an efficient and effective way in all media in order to attract more customers to come more often and buy more. Optimise sales priorities, commercial activities and ensuring the right forecast for our total offer. 

Your assignment 

  • Ensure that area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked and that the merchandising basics are in place at all times; 
  • Translate expertise knowledge and competence into business opportunities. Work with manager to improve range presentation by ensuring it appeals to our local customers; 
  • Maximise sales whilst maintaining profitability by knowing top selling products, strategic families, ensuring they are available and clearly communicated and displayed at all times; 
  • Understand the relationship between sales and stock forecast for my department and work towards achieving goals through continuous evaluation and follow-up; 
  • Ensure accurate Sales Space Management and prepare it in preparation for replenishment for the next day's business
Qualifications

Your profile 

  • You are passionate in home furnishing; 
  • You have a broad knowledge on how to optimise the customer experience across physical and digital touchpoints; 
  • You have a strong stakeholder management ability, strong analytical and database structuring & management skills; 
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office especially MS Excel & Powerpoint; 
  • You have a strong ability to 'keep many balls in the air' in a fast-paced operational environment; 
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced and future-oriented environment that is focused on people's everyday life at home; 
  • Fair, honest and trustworthy with excellent people skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, and a good sense of humour
