Email/Marketing Designer

We are seeking an Email/Marketing Designer who lives and breathes email design. This role involves designing a variety of emails, from product release campaigns to welcome flows and educational content, for various clients. Your designs must have clear and compelling content, an elevated style, and be crafted with each client's unique branding in mind.

Working Details:

• Location: 100% Remote
• Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Time Zone: Pacific Time (Los Angeles) alignment
• Working Hours: Typically 8:30am - 6:00pm PT
• Time Overlap Requirement: Minimum 2-3 hours overlap with PT working hours
• Communication: Primarily via Slack

Compensation

• Monthly Salary Range: $1,500 - $2,500 USD
• Benefits: Details about additional compensation packages like annual leave will be discussed directly with selected candidates

Key Responsibilities

• Design various emails from start to finish, including product release campaigns, 'Welcome' flows, and educational content
• Create designs with clear hierarchy, compelling calls to action, and mobile-first approach
• Develop elevated styles that maintain client brand integrity
• Apply best practices for sizing, content organization, and driving clicks
• Work with diverse client brands to create cohesive email marketing experiences
• Understand and apply conversion-focused design principles to maximize email performance
• Potentially contribute to the strategic aspects of email marketing campaigns

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in email design with a portfolio demonstrating conversion-focused work
• Strong understanding of email design best practices, including hierarchy, clear CTAs, and mobile-first design
• Ability to design across various brand identities while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic
• Expertise in organizing content effectively in email formats
• Understanding of the strategic goals of email marketing campaigns
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Klaviyo
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email templates
• Understanding of email marketing strategy and best practices
• Previous work with e-commerce brands
