PRESENTATION AND REPORT DESIGNER (Report Builder / Marketing Assistant)

CLIENT: AUSTRALIA; REMOTE

TYPE: FULL TIME; INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Presentation and Report Designer. This role combines report building with general marketing and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, a keen eye for design, and experience in marketing support and office administration. You will work across a range of report generation and marketing tasks, contributing to day-to-day operations and longer-term projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create charts and tables in Excel and PowerPoint using data provided by research consultants.
  • Present complex information in clean, visually appealing formats that are easy to understand.
  • Apply design principles to produce clutter-free, professional reports that enhance storytelling and client engagement.
  • Ensure precision, accuracy, and a high level of attention to detail in all deliverables.
  • Adhere to company visual guidelines and brand standards.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Perform light ad hoc graphic design work using PowerPoint and basic Adobe tools (e.g., Illustrator), including sourcing stock images/icons and simple image editing.
  • Support marketing and new business development efforts by:
  • Assisting in planning and executing marketing campaigns across social media and EDM platforms.
  • Preparing marketing content aligned with brand tone and objectives.
  • Identifying prospects, preparing marketing materials, and updating CRM databases.
  • Tracking and reporting performance of marketing activities to inform future campaigns.
  • Provide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, data entry, and preparing documents.
  • Support project management by tracking timelines, highlighting delays or issues, and assisting with basic project documentation.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or office role within a professional environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, especially in formatting and visualizing data (charts, tables).
  • Strong numerical skills and comfort working with spreadsheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in marketing support or operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in fast-paced and team-oriented environments.
  • Background in Professional Services.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or Canva (or willingness to learn).
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and processes.

Work from Home Requirements (Must have before the start date)

  • Internet Connection : Min of 30 mbps wired internet connection speed AND a backup internet connection (before start date)
  • Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a working computer with updated current programmes from home with Dual Monitors
  • Noise Canceling Headset (Plantronics)
  • Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions.
  • Must be comfortable working with a Monitoring Software (for payroll and timekeeping purposes only)
  • Webcam - Contractors must have a working webcam
