Tax Librarian

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Tax Librarian to join our team If you have experience in file management, archiving, and library systems, this might be the perfect role for you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance on developing and maintaining our library catalog, database, and procedures.
• Ensure the safe, organized retrieval and archiving of engagement files.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all client files in accordance with firm guidelines.
• Establish cooperative relationships with colleagues and uphold firm standards.

Essential Duties:

• Guide the firm in establishing effective methods for managing files and data.
• Organize, scan, and archive engagement files in our main server.
• Operate computers, scanners, and other equipment essential for file management.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety of all client files.
• Perform other duties assigned by the firm.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Science or relevant experience in library and file management.
• Strong file-keeping, archiving, and database management skills.
• Proficient with basic computer software and related equipment.
• Prior experience in accounting or law firms is a plus.
