Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Architectural and Structural. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management of architectural and structural works within construction projects. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Revit, CostX, and other BIM software are essential for accurate cost analysis and resource planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for architectural and structural-related works.
- Conduct material take-offs and quantity verifications using Revit, CostX, and other BIM tools.
- Analyze architectural and structural project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget adherence.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for architectural and structural systems.
- Monitor cost variations, change orders, and claims management related to architectural and structural scope.
- Provide cost forecasting and risk analysis to support project decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, contract terms, and industry standards for architectural and structural installations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to plan the financial aspects of architectural and structural works.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation, contract administration, and financial management for architectural and structural systems.
- Proficient in Revit, CostX, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other BIM software for architectural and structural quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Strong knowledge of architectural and structural materials, methods, and cost control techniques.
- Experience in contract negotiations, tender documentation, and claims management for architectural and structural projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
