About the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Platform Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and maintaining the foundational infrastructure and internal platforms that enable scalable, secure, and reliable application development and deployment.

You'll collaborate across engineering, DevOps, and security teams to ensure the underlying systems meet operational excellence standards and support the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Build re-usable AWS platform solution offers for Capgemini Financial services catering to Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Payments, Capital Markets and Insurance verticals.
  • Design technical solutions on AWS that address customer's requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with application teams to understand requirements and improve platform usability.
  • Produce high-quality technical design, build blueprints.
  • Build and configure build plans, code pipelines and create automated solutions that can be frame worked and re-used.
  • Assist with implementation of AWS platform architectures, including account and network structure, deployment orchestration and automation, and security best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Has experience with designing and implementing cloud-based and/or cloud-native solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible/Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, IAM, S3, EBS, Glacier, Route 53, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation.
  • Understanding of Agile, DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is strongly desired.
  • Ability to communicate in a DevOps environment with the team, managers, business units and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience implementing observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
  • Exposure to service mesh, API gateways, and multi-cloud architecture.
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialist.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect professional
