JOB TITLE: Group Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Overall Mission

The Group Procurement and Supply Chain Manager leads and oversees end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, vendor management, inventory control, and global distribution of products. The role is responsible for ensuring that supply chain activities are executed with maximum efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. By strategically managing suppliers, optimizing processes, and aligning procurement and logistics functions, the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager supports the organization's global business objectives and drives continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Main Contribution - Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Processes

• Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy to ensure critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to establish an efficient, end-to-end supply chain.
• Design and standardize global SOPs for planning, sourcing, supplier management, and logistics to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Develop supply chain policies and procedures to increase efficiency while ensuring quality, compliance, and safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Oversee procurement activities to ensure cost savings, timely delivery, quality, and cost-effective pricing.
• Maintain and update the Approved Supplier/Contractor listing.
• Align closely with Cold Chain management on technical requirements for assets.
• Lead supplier onboarding, ensuring compliance with anti-corruption and anti-bribery requirements, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with the Global Quality Team to evaluate suppliers/contractors per the Vendor Approval Process (VM-PR-03).
• Ensure all global supply chain contractors and suppliers have valid contracts approved by Legal.
• Support audit activities as required and approve supplier invoices in Yooz.

Supply & Demand Planning

• Engage stakeholders to gather and validate demand forecasts aligned with budgetary requirements.
• Analyze data trends to forecast inventory, asset needs, and distribution requirements.
• Collaborate with Tender and Sales teams to anticipate changes in supply demand.
• Work with Finance to align supply chain budgets and ensure accurate forecasting.

Warehousing & Distribution

• Identify optimal resupply and transportation routes with a focus on consolidation and cost efficiency.
• Monitor and control shipping asset inventories from manufacturers to warehouses, ensuring product availability and timely replenishment.
• Reconcile purchase orders and CAPEX invoices accurately and promptly.
• Manage safety stock levels to ensure continuous supply at optimized costs.

Reverse Logistics & Asset Tracking

• Define and monitor KPIs for reverse logistics performance and asset return efficiency.
• Partner with the QMCC Philippines to implement robust asset return tracking processes to minimize losses and return rates.
• Analyze reverse logistics flows and costs to recommend optimized, cost-effective solutions.

Continuous Improvement (Odyssey Program)

• Drive supply chain improvement initiatives, track progress, and ensure objectives are achieved on time.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Reporting & KPIs

• Define, monitor, and analyze supply chain KPIs to measure efficiency, cost, quality, and performance.
• Evaluate supplier performance, including service quality and cost-effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on progress, key action items, and goal achievements.

Application Systems & Technology

• Work with Cold Chain and IT teams to identify and deploy efficient, cost-effective asset tracking solutions.
• Lead technology strategy for supply chain systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), asset management, and demand planning tools.
• Collaborate with IT to design innovative solutions that improve visibility and transparency across the supply chain.

Required Skills

Profile (experience/ education)

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in procurement and supply chain management, including vendor management, sourcing, inventory, and logistics operations. Experience in global supply chains and regulated industries is a strong advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or equivalent), and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and asset tracking technologies is preferred.
• Financial Skills: Strong understanding of procurement financials, including supplier pricing analysis, cost optimization, budget management, and contract negotiation.
• Analytical Ability: Proven ability to analyze supply chain data, track KPIs, forecast demand, and translate insights into actionable strategies that improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams (Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, Customer Service). Strong ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors and stakeholders.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare policies, procedures, and reports, and to present insights clearly to senior leadership and external partners.
• Problem-Solving & Process Improvement: Strong capability to identify risks, resolve issues, implement CAPA measures, and drive continuous improvement in procurement, warehousing, and logistics processes.
• Project Management Skills: Familiarity with supply chain project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. PMP, Lean, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment with complex and multi-stakeholder supply chains. Able to support Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and adapt to changing market demands.

Specific Experience & Knowledge Required

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, including sourcing, vendor management, inventory, and logistics operations.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing global procurement strategies, supplier contracts, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and reverse logistics processes.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, IT, Quality, and external vendors to align objectives and resolve issues.
• Demonstrated ability to manage procurement financial processes, including supplier pricing analysis, budgeting, cost forecasting, and contract negotiations.
• Track record of leading or supporting supply chain process improvement and automation projects, including the use of ERP, WMS, or asset tracking systems.
• Familiarity with global compliance requirements, supplier audits, and quality/vendor approval processes.
• Experience using BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) and advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, Lean, Six Sigma certification is advantageous).
