Project Engineer

1. Project Management

2. Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of restaurant fit-out and refurbishment projects from initiation to turnover.
   • Develop detailed work schedules, monitor progress, and adjust project plans as needed to meet deadline

3. Technical Oversight

Review and verify engineering drawings, design plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Collaborate with design and architectural teams to address technical discrepancies or propose necessary adjustments for client approval.

Ensure all engineering and fit-out works meet the required structural integrity, standards, and design specifications.

Provide technical guidance and support to contractors, foremen, and field engineers to ensure seamless execution.

1. Coordination and Communication

Maintain effective communication with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other involved parties to align all aspects of project delivery.

Provide regular updates to management on project progress, issues, risks, and any significant changes.

Coordinate with the Senior Project Engineer for proper guidance, alignment, and technical collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Work closely with the Field Engineer to ensure the alignment of on-site activities with the approved project plan.

Attend coordination meetings with internal teams, contractors, and clients.

4. Materials Management

Prepare material take-offs and coordinate timely procurement of materials, equipment, fixtures, and furnishings needed for fit-out activities.

Ensure advance material requests are submitted at least two weeks prior to usage, with final availability confirmed at least one week in advance.

Conduct quality inspections upon delivery of materials to ensure compliance with technical standards and specifications.

1. Personnel Requisition & Workforce Planning

Assess daily labor and workforce requirements for ongoing tasks.

Prepare and submit personnel requisition requests based on work scope and project schedule.

Coordinate with the Senior Project Engineer and HR for timely mobilization of additional skilled workers or subcontractors as project demands arise.

Monitor manpower productivity and make recommendations for adjustments to optimize resource allocation.

1. Compliance and Quality Control

2. Implement quality assurance protocols to ensure that all work meets company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.

3. Conduct site inspections, testing, and assessments to verify the quality and safety of ongoing work.

4. Ensure full compliance with local government regulations, building codes, and safety standards.

5. Problem Solving & Issue Resolution

6. Identify and address technical and operational issues on-site to prevent disruptions to project timelines.

7. Develop practical solutions in collaboration with design and engineering teams when modifications are necessary.

8. Ensure that any deviations from plans are approved before implementation. 8. Stakeholder Management

9. Act as liaison between clients, consultants, and internal teams to fully understand and execute project requirements.

10. Maintain strong communication and transparency with all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

11. Document and escalate concerns or conflicts that may impact project delivery. 9. Safety Officer Responsibilities

12. Enforce strict compliance with occupational health and safety regulations at all project sites.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections, trainings, and safety audits to mitigate potential hazards.

13. Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

14. Maintain safety records, including accident and illness reports, for DOLE compliance.
