Junior Project Engineer

Summary

Assist in managing restaurant fit-out and refurbishment projects to ensure timely, cost-efficient, safe, and high-quality delivery. Work closely with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams while upholding company standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Education: BS in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; Licensed Civil Engineer.
• Experience: 1–3 years in construction/project management (restaurant/retail/hospitality fit-out preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in reading plans & specs.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, sequencing, QA, and safety codes.
• Familiarity with MS Project/Primavera and AutoCAD/SketchUp.
• Other Skills: Strong coordination, problem-solving, communication, and client service orientation.
• Attributes: Physically fit, flexible with site assignments, strong integrity, safety, and quality focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management – Assist in planning, scheduling, cost control, and monitoring site progress.
• Technical Oversight – Review drawings/specs, ensure compliance, provide technical guidance.
• Coordination – Liaise with contractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, and internal teams.
• Materials Management – Prepare take-offs, manage procurement, and inspect deliveries.
• Workforce Planning – Monitor manpower needs, requisition labor, and track productivity.
• Quality & Compliance – Enforce QA/QC and safety standards; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Issue Resolution – Identify/resolve site problems, propose corrective actions.
• Stakeholder Management – Maintain communication and transparency with all parties.
• Safety – Implement safety audits, training, and reporting.
• Monitoring & Reporting – Track progress (weekly targets, reports, evaluations).
• Billing & Documentation – Validate accomplishments for billing, maintain records.
• Close-out – Oversee final inspections, punch lists, turnover documents, and client handover.
• Other Duties – Support Senior Engineer and organizational goals as needed.

Work Conditions

• Location: Site-based (varied environments; regular travel).
• Schedule: Mon–Sat, 8:00am–5:00pm (flexible per project).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
