What we are looking for:

Are you a highly skilled developer ready to take your expertise to the next level? We're seeking a Contractual Backend Developer to join our team and help us shape the success of both our company and our clients.

In this role, you will be in charge of maintaining the websites for our company and its clients, acting as a vital link between the technical team and stakeholders. You'll translate project goals into actionable tasks for the development team.

This position requires non-negotiable, hands-on experience with both Supabase and Webflow. If you do not have proven experience with these specific platforms, please do not apply.

What you'll be doing:

• Maintain the existing websites of the company and its clients.
• Help oversee the tasks and progress of projects handled by programmers and web developers.
• Communicate directly with the Chief of Staff, CEO, clients, and stakeholders to manage projects and translate them into clear goals for the team.
• Accommodate changes in schedule based on stakeholder availability.
• Attend scheduled meetings to provide project and task updates.
• Build scalable backend systems that power our websites and platforms.
• Integrate backend services with Webflow and other no-code/low-code tools.
• Design, implement, and maintain database solutions, specifically using Supabase.
• Provide technical guidance and communicate backend architecture solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support hiring requirements, such as screening developers when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a backend web developer.
• Non-negotiable, hands-on experience with both Supabase and Webflow.
• Proven ability to set clear goals, communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and deliver results.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript ), HTML, CSS, and experience with various other programming languages and technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of frontend and backend frameworks such as 3, Tailwind, Vite, and AdonisJS 5.
• Advanced knowledge of databases, specifically Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Advanced knowledge of Git using Bitbucket and Jira, and CI/CD pipeline implementations.
• Experience in deploying websites using tools like Dokku, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Experience supporting US or offshore clients as a developer is a plus.
• Ability to understand and manage DNS, with experience using GoDaddy, Cloudflare, and DigitalOcean.
• Good English communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Agile Framework and Secure Development best practices.
• Capacity to explain technical terms and processes to non-technical individuals and work effectively in teams.
• A ready and available portfolio or GitHub account for review during the interview process.
• Well-rounded and adaptable, with a strong willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and the flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements.
• Ability to discuss and plan end-to-end system architecture for a growing platform.

Good-to-Haves:

• Experience with Security and Compliance, such as SOC2 and Vanta.
• Knowledge of AWS, Python, PHP, C#, and CMS frameworks like WordPress, Shopify, etc.
• Experience in end-to-end testing using frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, and Puppeteer.
• Experience in QA testing.
• Familiarity with no-code/low-code platforms is a plus.
