Role Purpose

The purpose of a Project Architect / Engineer is to provide leadership and management for projects from initial concept to completion. Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of plans, budgets, and schedules; and monitoring the project's progress and ensuring that it meets quality standards and requirements. Additionally, ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget, and that all safety regulations are followed.

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  1. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  2. Coordinate with concerned departments and third-party consultants.
  3. Track project progress and identify potential risks.
  4. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  5. Manage stakeholder expectations.
  6. Prepare project reports and conduct regular reviews.

Design and Construction:

  1. Develop and review store building plans and specifications.
  2. Oversee the design and construction process, ensuring adherence to design specifications and building codes.
  3. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and address issues.
  4. Prepare construction contracts and manage contractors.

Compliance and Quality:

  1. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  2. Maintain quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Identify and mitigate project risks.

Team Leadership:

  1. Lead and motivate project teams, including engineers, and contractors.
  2. Provide guidance and support to team members.
  3. Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth project execution.

Reports and Communication:

  1. Maintain open and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Address client concerns and ensure their satisfaction.
  3. Present project updates and progress reports.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or any engineering related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Construction supervision experience, a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office. CAD software and other design tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and space planning.
  • Creative thinker with a strong visual sense.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience with budget management.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility to travel for store/site visits and project coordination.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks and set priorities.
  • Must be residing in Manila or willing to be assigned in this area.
  • Can start immediately.
