Work Arrangement

  • 100% Work From Home
  • Full Time, Independent Contractor - WFH
  • Shift: US time 10PM - 6AM or 11PM - 7AM PHT, Weekends OFF
  • (Required) Minimum internet speed requirement is 50 MBPS (with pre/postpaid back up)
  • Has a designated quiet workspace at home
  • (Required) Complete equipment: Desktop or Laptop, webcam, headset

Main Priorities:

Bookkeeping & Financial Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks on a daily basis
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and merchant accounts weekly
  • Prepare and assist with financial reports and journal entries
  • Track company expenses and maintain records for all financial transactions
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to support budgeting and forecasting efforts
  • Review, validate, and process payroll accurately and on schedule.

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Generate and send invoices via Chargebee or integrated systems
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding payments when necessary
  • Work with the sales team to resolve billing issues or disputes
  • Ensure timely collections if auto-billing fails and accurate revenue recognition

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Review, verify with leadership, and process vendor bills and expense reports
  • Manage approvals and schedule outgoing payments
  • Maintain vendor records

Compliance & Coordination:

  • Assist with monthly close processes and coordinate with external CPAs/bookkeepers when needed
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Support annual tax prep and audit processes where needed

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping, preferably but not required in a SaaS or software company
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online, Stripe, and similar tools (preferably experienced with Chargebee)
  • Has worked in a BPO and with a solid grasp of PH tax laws, benefits, gov't remittances, and regulations (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and subscription billing models
  • Experience working with MRR, deferred revenue, and SaaS KPIs is a big plus
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
  • Advanced skills in Excel/ Google Sheets to help with forecasting
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM tools
  • Experience with SaaS performance metrics
  • Knowledge of international contractor/vendor payments and compliance
  • Strong work ethic—gets the job done, no excuses
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for financial accuracy
  • Able to collaborate between US and Philippine teams
  • Willing to work in graveyard schedule
