The
Bureau of the Treasury (BTr)
is the principal custodian of the national government's financial assets, ensuring the
availability of funds to implement various governmental programs and projects. It also
plays a key role in formulating forward-moving developments in the capital markets, debt-servicing, and cash resources management.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Assistant based in Manila, to be assigned to the
Central Office - Asset Management Service - Risk Management Division (RMD)
. The individual will assist in the formulation of a detailed risk management framework that covers various risk exposures (Market, Liquidity, and Operational Risks). Also, through the utilization of Bloomberg Port Analytics, the Technical Assistant will perform Risk Assessments, Risk Analysis, Risk Identification, and Risk Estimation activities across different Philippine government management funds. Furthermore, the Technical Assistant will guide the team in conceptualizing analytical financial models to predict different macroeconomic indications (ex. USDPHP, Philippines BVAL Rates)

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree Relevant to the Job (Business Administration, Financial Management, Economics, Data Science)
  • Experience: Proficient in Oral and Written Communication, Proficient in Computer Software such as GMail, Google Docs, Google Sheets
  • Plus Factor: Strong Analytical Skills and Proficiency in Data Analytics and Machine Learning
  • Civil Service Eligibility (2nd Level Eligibility)
