The Janitorial Staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all common areas within the building. This role includes regular garbage collection, assisting the receptionist as needed, and providing room cleaning services upon request. Additional responsibilities relevant to co-living operations may also be required.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Upkeep of Common Areas

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational areas from the ground floor to the 11th floor.

· Regularly inspect common areas for cleanliness and address any issues promptly.

Garbage Collection

· Conduct garbage pickups twice a week from designated storage areas on all floors.

· Ensure that garbage is properly disposed of and that storage areas are kept clean.

· Sanitize garbage storage areas after each garbage collection to maintain hygiene.

Assisting Receptionist

· Serve as a runner to the receptionist, assisting with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.

· Provide support during busy periods, including helping residents with inquiries or requests.

Room Cleaning Services

· Room cleaning to rooms as per instruction from the receptionist or admin office.

Cleaning Supplies Management

· Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all tools are in good working condition.

· Request additional supplies as needed and report any issues to management.

Safety and Compliance

· Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and residents.

· Report any safety hazards to admin office.

Other Related Tasks

· Support during room turnovers including deep cleaning and preparation for incoming tenants.

· Assist in organizing and cleaning common areas after in-house community events.

· Coordinate with maintenance team for any damage or repair needs found during cleaning tasks.

· Help enforce cleanliness rules in shared spaces and report repeat violations.

· Ensure that bulletin boards and community notice areas are tidy and updated.

· Assist with laundry area cleanliness and help monitor for misuse or malfunctioning machines.
