About the role

Megawide Construction Corporation is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented QA Officer to join our dynamic Head Office team. As a QA Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our construction projects. This is a full-time, office-based position located in Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures for all construction projects
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality standards and industry regulations
  • Identify and address quality issues, and work closely with project teams to implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related concerns and minimise project risks
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality control processes and outcomes
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality assurance best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest quality standards, regulations, and industry trends

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of quality management systems, construction regulations, and industry best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in using quality assurance software and tools
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
