Land Surveyor – Job Description

Position Overview:

A Land Surveyor is responsible for measuring and mapping land boundaries, features, and topography to support construction projects, land development, and engineering works. The role ensures accuracy in measurements and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct field surveys to establish land boundaries, elevations, and property lines.
• Use surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS, levels, and measuring tapes.
• Prepare accurate survey reports, sketches, maps, and legal descriptions.
• Analyze survey data to determine land contours, elevations, and dimensions.
• Verify and validate existing survey records, plans, and maps.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Establish reference points and markers for construction layout.
• Monitor and record site conditions and changes during project execution.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with government regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment regularly.
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Licensed Geodetic Engineer or Land Surveyor (an advantage but not always required).
• Proven experience as a surveyor in construction or land development projects.
• Proficient in using surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS, Auto Level).
• Knowledge of CAD software and other survey data processing tools.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physically fit and willing to work in various field conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php21,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
