About the role

We are seeking an experienced Retail New Business Unit Manager to join our team at Firstlead Inc.'. This is a full-time role based in Tarlac City, Tarlac, with opportunities for career development and progression. As the Retail New Business Unit Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our newest retail business unit, playing a key strategic role in expanding our operations and market share.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and executing comprehensive business plans to launch and grow our new retail business unit following a build-operate model.
  2. Overseeing all operational aspects of the new business unit, including acquisition of brands/franchise to put up, putting together the team to operate the store and ensuring that the stores are operated efficiently
  3. Identifying and acquiring multiple franchise businesses to build and operate in our company owned commercial site to drive revenue and profitability
  4. Analyzing market trends, customer feedback, and financial data to inform strategic decision-making
  5. Providing strong leadership and mentorship to a team of retail professionals

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of successfully launching and growing new business units or retail operations
  2. At least 3 years in retail operations management, with a deep understanding of operating multiple businesses such as food, retail and services.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of retail professionals
  6. Has the ability to build a portfolio of various businesses operating in company owned commercial centers. (e.g. drugstore, gas station, salon/spa, food outlets etc)
  7. Franchise development and multi-unit management experience is required.
  8. Relevant bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience
  9. Must be willing to relocate to or work in Tarlac and Nueva Ecija areas.
