  • System Management:Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and growth of the organization's Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Technology Implementation:Evaluate, select, and implement new hardware, software, and other technology solutions to meet organizational needs.
  • Data Management:Develop and enforce policies for data management, ensuring the security, accuracy, and integrity of all organizational data.
  • Reporting & Analysis:Generate reports, analyze data, and provide timely and accurate information to support strategic decision-making and business objectives.
  • Security & Compliance:Implement measures to protect information and data from threats and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting & Vendor Management:Manage the budget for information systems, and negotiate with vendors for MIS services and products.
  • Support:Provide technical support and training to users, and advise management on system capabilities and priorities.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in systems analysis, database technologies, programming languages, and data analysis tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:Ability to critically analyze data, identify trends, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills:Effective communication to collaborate with different departments and provide clear explanations to management.
  • Organizational Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and staff members (depending on the role).
  • Education:Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
