Job Description – HR Officer

1. Recruitment, Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Leads proactive sourcing and selection strategies through various channels, including digital platforms, job boards, and social media networks, ensuring a strong talent pipeline.
  • Designs and posts engaging job advertisements and maintains an organized applicant database for effective recruitment tracking.
  • Facilitates interviews using behavioral techniques such as the S.T.A.R. method and ensures timely communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Oversees thorough background verification and reference checks, ensuring compliance with the Data Privacy Act.
  • Prepares and manages pre-employment requirements, employee profiles, and onboarding processes, leveraging HRIS and digital systems.
  • Conducts creative and engaging employee orientations to strengthen integration and alignment with company culture.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for new hires, providing guidance and addressing inquiries.

2. Total Rewards: Compensation & Benefits

  • Manages payroll processing, ensuring accurate attendance monitoring and proper tracking of vacation and sick leave.
  • Administers government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and coordinates with agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Oversees company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance, allowances, leave credits, and cash advances.
  • Coordinates and monitors employee performance appraisals (probationary, mid-term, and annual reviews) in partnership with team leaders.
  • Provides recommendations for total rewards improvements to enhance employee engagement and retention.

3. Employee Relations & Labor Compliance

  • Ensures adherence to labor standards, workers' rights, and management prerogatives, in alignment with the Philippine Labor Code.
  • Develops and enforces disciplinary measures and documentation, fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
  • Handles employee grievances, complaints, and conflict resolution with confidentiality and fairness.
  • Advises management on labor relations matters, ensuring company policies are consistent with current DOLE regulations.

4. Training, Development & Organizational Culture

  • Assists in designing and implementing training programs aligned with organizational needs and DOLE-mandated competencies.
  • Facilitates company initiatives on occupational safety and health standards, 5S housekeeping, and compliance with the Data Privacy Act.
  • Promotes employee well-being through programs focused on mental health, work-life balance, and productivity.
  • Organizes corporate events, team-building activities, and employee engagement programs that reinforce a positive workplace culture.

5. HR Administration & Records Management

  • Supervises the maintenance and updating of employee 201 files, databases, and HR records to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepares HR reports and dashboards, providing insights on recruitment, attrition, training, and employee performance.
  • Oversees the preparation, distribution, and safekeeping of HR documentation, including contracts, notices, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manages employee separation processes, including exit interviews, clearances, and turnover documentation, ensuring smooth offboarding.
  • Ensures timely scheduling of HR-related meetings, orientations, and training sessions, while maintaining calendars and official records.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of BS Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Licensed Psychometrician preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of solid HR generalist experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or officer-level role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, labor relations, compensation and benefits, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll, and timekeeping software.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle employee concerns, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution effectively.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programs and employee engagement activities.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to support management in HR planning and policy formulation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
