Job Summary:

The Land Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing suitable land for utility-scale solar PV projects. This role involves conducting land-related surveys and studies to assess site viability, negotiating with landowners, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The position requires close coordination with engineering, legal, and project development teams to facilitate smooth acquisition and project readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and evaluate potential land sites for solar PV projects through site visits, mapping tools, and feasibility studies.

  • Conduct and/or coordinate land-related surveys to determine site suitability, including topographical, cadastral, and environmental assessments.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to assess terrain, accessibility, and other site-specific factors impacting solar plant development.

  • Engage and negotiate with landowners, brokers, and local authorities to secure land rights, leases, or purchase agreements.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, zoning, and environmental requirements for land acquisition.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of negotiations, contracts, and land records.

  • Liaise with local communities and stakeholders to address concerns and maintain good relationships.

  • Coordination and engagement with relevant government agencies (such as DENR, DAR, others) and Local Government Units

  • Conduct and perform activities related to land reclassification and land conversion

  • Support project development by providing land-related data and reports to the engineering and management teams.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Geodetic Engineering, Land Management, or related field (Geodetic Engineer license is an advantage).

· 1–3 years of experience in land acquisition, preferably for renewable energy or large-scale infrastructure projects.

· Familiarity with land-related surveys, mapping, and viability studies for solar PV plant development.

· Strong understanding of property laws, land titling processes, and local regulations.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in mapping and GIS software is a plus.

· Ability to work independently, travel to project sites, and manage multiple acquisition projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php40, Php45,000.00 per month
