Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field is an advantage.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN, local equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in oncology/chemotherapy administration.
  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols, oncology medications, and patient safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Willing to assign in Makati City

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical & Patient Care

  • Oversee and coordinate the delivery of chemotherapy and oncology nursing care.
  • Ensure adherence to chemotherapy protocols, infection control standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor patient care plans and ensure timely interventions for adverse reactions and complications.
  • Promote a patient-centered approach with emphasis on compassion, dignity, and comfort.

Nursing Leadership & Supervision

  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff.
  • Organize staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for treatments and patient care.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and training for oncology nursing best practices.
  • Foster teamwork, communication, and professional growth among the nursing team.

Operational & Administrative Management

  • Manage daily operations of the chemotherapy center's nursing unit.
  • Oversee inventory management of chemotherapy drugs, supplies, and equipment in collaboration with the pharmacy and procurement teams.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and government regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate reports, records, and documentation for patient care and operations.

Quality & Safety

  • Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards for staff handling cytotoxic drugs.
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to enhance patient safety and service quality.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, adverse events, and patient concerns.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
  • Participate in case discussions, tumor boards, and clinical decision-making processes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between nursing staff and management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
