Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in fire protection systems, you will be responsible for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of fire safety systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and contractors to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Design and analyze fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, hydrants, etc.) for new construction, renovation and preventive maintenance projects.

·  Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and system layout.

·  Collaborate with contractors and client's officer-in-charge to ensure successful project execution.

·  Conduct system inspections, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.

·  Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and project documentation.

·  Ensure compliance with fire safety codes, regulations, and industry standards.

·  Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in fire protection engineering.

Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the fire protection industry or related engineering fields.

· Proven experience with fire protection system design and installation.

· Knowledge of fire safety and building codes, standards, and regulations.

· Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is a plus.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and clients.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

· Relevant certifications in fire protection systems or engineering (preferred).

Desired Skills:

· Experience with fire suppression systems, smoke control, and alarm systems.

· Familiarity with Fire Code and Building Code of the Philippines.

· Ability to perform risk assessments and create safety plans.

· Experience in commissioning and maintaining fire protection systems.
