Job Summary

The Fabricator is responsible for building, assembling, and finishing physical structures, event setups, and marketing collaterals based on design specifications and technical drawings. This role ensures that all fabrication outputs are produced with high quality, accuracy, and safety standards, supporting the successful execution of Below-the-Line (BTL) activations, events, and installations.

Key Responsibilities

Fabrication & Assembly

  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and 3D design models (e.g., SketchUp) to create accurate structures and event setups.
  • Fabricate, cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood, metal, acrylic, PVC, and other event-related materials.
  • Operate fabrication tools and machinery (e.g., saws, drills, welding equipment, grinders).
  • Ensure all fabricated items are structurally sound, safe, and aligned with design requirements.

Quality & Finishing

  • Check dimensions, alignment, and finish of fabricated items.
  • Apply paint, laminate, or finishing materials as needed.
  • Ensure that outputs meet company and client quality standards.

Collaboration & Execution

  • Work closely with Production Leads, Creative Leads, and Project Managers to understand requirements.
  • Support installation and dismantling of event setups, booths, and brand activations.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of fabrication tasks.

Safety & Maintenance

  • Follow proper safety guidelines in handling tools, machinery, and materials.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workshop and work area.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on tools and equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, vocational course, or TESDA certification in Fabrication, Welding, Carpentry, or related fields.
  • Proven experience as a fabricator, carpenter, or related role in events, construction, or marketing fabrication.
  • Knowledge of different materials (wood, metal, acrylic, plastics) and fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, sketches, and design layouts.
  • Skilled in using fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Physically fit and able to handle on-site installation work.
