Conduct research and development activities to improve existing processes and develop innovative solutions. Optimize chemical processes for efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Solve complex engineering problems:Apply engineering principles and problem-solving skills to address challenges in areas such as process design, equipment selection, and plant operations. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions to improve process performance and efficiency. Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict and optimize process behavior.

Ensure safety and environmental compliance:Design and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safe operation of chemical plants. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to minimize environmental impact. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

RequirementsStrong foundation in chemical engineering principles:Possess a strong understanding of core chemical engineering concepts, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer, and chemical reaction engineering. Knowledge of process design, control, and optimization techniques. Analytical and problem-solving skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to engineering challenges. Technical proficiency:Proficiency in using chemical engineering software tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, MATLAB) for process simulation, data analysis, and design. Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software for process flow diagrams and equipment design.
