The Payroll Lead / Assistant HR Manager is responsible for overseeing payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government regulations, and supporting HR functions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate salary computation, benefits, deductions, and statutory contributions.
- Review, validate, and reconcile payroll reports, addressing discrepancies and ensuring compliance with labor laws and tax regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll systems, employee records, and HRIS databases.
- Coordinate with Finance and external auditors on payroll-related matters.
- Supervise payroll staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Assist the HR Manager in employee relations, policy implementation, performance management, and other HR initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR/payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS, and government statutory requirements.
