POSITION SUMMARY:

Monitors, analyzes and inspects the wheat, flour and pasta products according to the standards set by QA and R&D Department and specifications required by different customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Conducts physico-chemical tests based on laboratory procedures and quality plan for in-process and finished products.
  • Does sampling and physical inspection of flour prior to release and packaging materials prior to acceptance.
  • Checks and assesses products on-hold, rejects or returned by clients.
  • Issues Certificates of Analysis to respective customers.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of B.S. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology or related course
  • Must be a Registered Chemical Technician or Registered Chemist
  • At least six (6) months work experience in a laboratory or in a manufacturing company is an advantage
  • Newly graduates with good academic records are encouraged to apply
  • Has the ability to monitor quality of products
  • Knowledgeable in Good Laboratory Practices
  • Computer literate
  • With good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be amenable to work six days a week on a rotational shift schedule at Bagong Ilog, Pasig City
