CARGO REPRESENTATIVE

Job Description:

  1. Supervise and ensure that all Turkish Cargo procedures and standards are implemented in order to achieve day-to-day.
  2. Promote/sell/secure business from existing and prospective customer through consultative and solutions relationship-based approach,
  3. Manage and ensure the smooth Handling of all day to day cargo booking activities for the Manila Station.
  4. Coordinate team to provide accurate reservation functions, quality customer service, smooth ad-hoc process.
  5. Coordinate daily activities with sales team, finance team, direct GHA/Ramp headquarters and final destination contacts.
  6. To develop relations with agents, customers and the companies operating in the industry; to find new markets; and to announce fares/charges, regulations and innovations to the agents.
  7. Inquires and assesses the available and possible cargo potentials at her/his region; and informs the Regional Cargo Manager; and issues a report for such purpose, when and if required.
  8. Responds to customers' questions, problems, requests and/or complaints.
  9. Represent and promote Turkish Cargo within cargo industry community,
  10. Contributes to achievement of all targets of the process, where she/he serves, by acting in accordance with policies of the Company.
  11. Coordinates with official authorities and handling agencies, follows rules and regulations.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Degree holder in university for business and related disciplines
  • At least 3 years working experience in express logistics service, Airlines related industry, knowledge in reservations, flight planning, daily operational handling, e-commerce and express processing will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of cargo operations through understanding of airline cargo sales including pricing strategies
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products
  • Good command in written and spoken English and local language(s)
  • Able to work flexibly in a dynamics and diverse environment, works well under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
