Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on company vehicles, company boom trucks and backhoe (e.g., oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations, battery inspection, etc.).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to determine necessary repairs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely servicing of all vehicles.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, parts used, and service dates.
  • Monitor vehicle performance and report any recurring issues to the Operations.
  • Ensure all vehicles comply with LTO and other regulatory standards (e.g., registration, emission testing).
  • Request or recommend parts and materials needed for repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure the workshop and tools are organized, clean, and in good condition.
  • Assist in vehicle inspection before and after deployment to ensure safety and readiness.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide quick on-site repairs when necessary.
  • Perform safety checks and inspections on vehicles before long trips.
  • Coordinate with drivers for reports on vehicle condition and repair requests.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • At least a High School Graduate or Vocational Graduate in Automotive Technology or a related field.
  • With TESDA Certificate or equivalent training in Automotive Servicing (NC II or higher preferred).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years experience as an automotive mechanic. boom truck and backhoe.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
  • Ability to operate various tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Must be physically fit, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
  • Honest, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Workshop and field-based work; may require travel to attend to on-site vehicle issues.
  • May be required to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays when urgent repairs are needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php17,000.00 per month
