Hotel HR Officer
Job Summary
The Hotel HR Officer is responsible for handling day-to-day human resource operations for a hotel, including recruitment, employee relations, records management, and compliance with Philippine labor laws. The position supports hotel management in implementing HR policies and maintaining a productive and positive work environment. The role requires flexibility and willingness to be assigned to any hotel within the company's hotel group nationwide, as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for hotel staff, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding
- Maintain accurate and updated employee 201 files and HR records in compliance with DOLE requirements
- Implement and ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and hotel standards
- Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and disciplinary actions
- Assist in performance management, training coordination, and employee orientation programs
- Support employee relations, including handling grievances, investigations, and administrative cases
- Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and hotel/company policies
- Coordinate with government agencies such as DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG
- Prepare HR reports, memoranda, and employment-related documentation
- Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement, welfare, and workplace discipline
- Coordinate with Corporate HR on audits, reporting, and policy implementation
- Be willing to be assigned or re-assigned to any hotel within the group nationwide, as operational needs require
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related course
- At least 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry
- Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations
- Strong communication skills in English and Filipino
- Proficient in MS Office applications; experience with HRIS is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
- Willing to work flexible hours and accept assignments to different hotel locations nationwide
