Position: Business Analyst Lead

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

You will lead business analysis efforts, manage a team of analysts, and ensure solutions meet business goals. You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate requirements into actionable plans, and oversee delivery of efficient, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of business analysts.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications, workflows, and user stories.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA, and UX teams.
  • Maintain documentation, process diagrams, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with governance and quality standards.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and escalate as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a business analyst, with 2+ years in a lead role.
  • Experience must be specifically within the IT/Software industry.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
  • Must have experience leading teams of 10 or more people.
  • Experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency with BA tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Expert level proficiency required in BA tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Lucidchart.
  • Minimum proficiency required in at least 2 of the 4 BA tools: Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, or Lucidchart.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Must have Philippines work authorisation at the time of application.

Preferred:

  • Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA).
  • Experience in software development or IT projects.
  • Knowledge of data analytics, process modeling, or ERP systems.
