Salesforce Developer Manager

Location:
Makati (Hybrid, 1x a week onsite)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development cadence on a day-to-day basis - assign user stories, build activities to dev team, provide hands on mentorship and guidance on approach and expectations, tailored to the level of experience of each dev team member.
• Direct all technical activities and manage workload and timelines across dev team.
• Work closely with Functional Lead to understand details of client requirements and solution design, Technical Architect to ensure a clear understanding of the requirements and approach for work items under development.
• Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
• Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
• Testing the stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
• Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software.
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
• Contributing to technical documentation
• Provide recommendations and/or alternatives to align solution design with Salesforce and industry best practices, as needed.
• Responsible for the execution of the development / build activities.
• Raise critical design changes or challenges to the engaged Technical Architect.
• Attend Agile/Scrum stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to plan, design, code, and review development tasks.
• Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.
• Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively.
• Coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
• Analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
• Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree graduate (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related disciplines)
• Required skills: salesforce development, Apex/Visualforce experience, salesforce certifications such as Platform App Builder, Developer I or Developer II or other relevant certifications, exposure to any salesforce platforms (e.g sales, service, experience cloud), lead experience
• At least 5 to 6 years of salesforce development experience with any of the platforms such as sales, service, experience cloud etc.
• Should have a minimum of 2 or more salesforce certifications.
• Proficient in MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Native, and VisualForce.
• Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
• Strong ability to design, code, build out solution, implement salesforce applications.
• Ability to produce deliverables within a diverse and fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication and listening skills in English.
• Ability to foster a positive working environment by building relationships with team members and clients.
• Comfortable working with different nationalities.
