Responsibilities of the Graphic Designer will include, but are not limited to:

Graphic Design

·       Develop and execute designs that align with and represent the brand identity, values, and objectives.

·       Maintain brand style guides that ensure the consistent representation of in house brands across all design aspects

·       Develop and execute designs and finished art across elements such as packaging, user manuals, POS, print advertising, corporate material, event material, presentations and other ad hoc tasks.

·       Assist with overflow requirements in the digital design area on basic digital assets.

·       Develop and execute resizing and finished art requirements across various materials.

·       Collaborate with branding experts, marketing teams, and stakeholders to create campaigns and align design efforts with the brand's strategic goals and marketing campaigns.

·       Gather feedback from clients, stakeholders, and target audiences to make informed design decisions that enhance the brand's perception and effectiveness.

·       Ensure all design elements, from advertising to product packaging, maintain consistency in terms of colours, fonts, imagery, and overall design style, reinforcing the brand's identity.

Visual Communication

·       Grasp the core message, objectives, and target audience for a project to tailor the visual design accordingly.

·       Ideate and brainstorm concepts and design directions that align with the project's goals and message.

·       Create rough sketches or wireframes to visualise the layout, arrangement of elements, and overall composition.

·       Choose suitable design elements such as colours, fonts, imagery, icons, and layouts that align with the message and audience preferences.

·       Design the overall layout, including the arrangement of text, images, graphics, and other elements to ensure a cohesive and visually pleasing composition.

·       Customise designs for different media, considering the unique requirements of each platform.

Experience.

·       Experience in a similar role

·       Qualifications in Graphic Design

·       Ability to communicate design ideation & project progress

·       Ability to gather, analyse, interpret and data to assist in decision making.

·       Identifying and delivering meaningful design insights.

Technical skills

·       Creative development software – Adobe suite

·       Project management software
