Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled
Security Subject Matter Expert (SME)
to design, configure, and maintain native security solutions across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. The role involves implementing security controls, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing technical leadership in security best practices and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage native security components such as firewalls, ACLs, NSGs, WAFs, and other protection tools.
  • Design, deploy, and upgrade security solutions ensuring alignment with organizational compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, templates, and runbooks.
  • Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring using scripting tools (Python, PowerShell, F5 iRules).
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and compliance audits to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance on security best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience in
    security configuration and management
    .
  • Proficiency in
    cloud-native security tools
    (AWS, Azure) and on-premise solutions.
  • Strong understanding of
    network security
    ,
    SIEM/SOAR
    , and
    identity access management
    .
  • Experience with
    scripting and automation
    for security operations.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of
    security frameworks
    and compliance standards.
  • Experience in
    incident response
    and
    threat management
    .
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Azure/AWS Security Specialty).
