About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Prior Authorization Account Representative to join our team at access healthcare based in Pasay City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time role that will involve providing high-quality customer service and processing prior authorization requests for healthcare services. You will be an integral part of our customer service team, ensuring patients receive the care they need in a timely and efficient manner.

What you'll be doing

  • Respond to inbound calls from patients, providers, and insurance representatives to process prior authorization requests
  • Gather all necessary information to complete prior authorization forms accurately and efficiently
  • Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies to obtain additional information or clarification as needed
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all prior authorization activities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to resolve any issues or questions related to prior authorizations
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • 1 year of experience in a customer service or call centre environment, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, providers, and insurance representatives
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to accurately process prior authorization requests
  • Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records software
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, procedures, and terminology is preferred
  • Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and a patient-centric approach
