Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing ingredients (chopping, peeling, marinating) for daily service.
- Support senior chefs during cooking and plating.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Learn recipes, cooking methods, and kitchen operations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or culinary training preferred.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and food preparation.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
