Role Summary

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Communication Skills Trainer to help develop the verbal, listening, interpersonal, and written communication skills of our healthcare associates. This role plays a key part in ensuring our teams can confidently and professionally interact with patients, insurance providers, and DME/HME service providers via phone, email, and chat. By delivering impactful training programs, you will directly contribute to patient satisfaction, operational efficiency, and service excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Conduct classroom and virtual training sessions on active listening, empathy, call handling, email etiquette, and chat professionalism.
  • Customize training for role-specific communication needs across various healthcare functions.
  • Use simulations, role-plays, and real-time feedback to reinforce best practices.

Curriculum & Material Development

  • Collaborate with instructional designers and process trainers to integrate communication goals into role-based learning.
  • Create engaging training decks, handouts, evaluation tools, and feedback forms.
  • Continuously enhance content based on learner and client feedback.

Assessment & Coaching

  • Evaluate communication skills through graded role-plays, mock calls, and writing exercises.
  • Provide timely, constructive coaching tailored to individual needs.
  • Identify trainees needing additional support and coordinate remediation plans.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
  • Submit daily and post-training reports to the Training Supervisor/Manager.
  • Track common communication gaps and recommend curriculum updates.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years' experience in communication or soft skills training within a corporate, BPO, or healthcare outsourcing environment.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English with excellent facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to coach learners with varying skill levels.
  • Healthcare-related communication experience is an advantage.
  • Proficient in LMS platforms and basic content authoring tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Articulate 360).
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, English, ESL, or related field preferred.
