Automotive Leadman

A Leadman / QCI is responsible for overseeing and performing inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of vehicles following established procedures and guidelines. He plans, coordinates and directs the service department's quality control efforts, ensuring that repairs to customers' cars have been completed correctly and that vehicles are returned to customers in the proper condition.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acts as the Leadman/QCI for all repair orders.
• Oversees technician's work on the assigned Job Order vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles before releasing to ensure that we meet the Drive+ quality standards.
• Review repair orders and manuals to verify all repairs have been completed.
• Communicates with repair team and Service Advisor to describe any discrepancies in quality of the repairs.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Keeps all records of vehicle inspected.

Qualifications:

• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Automotive Servicing
• Must have at least a TESDA NCI, NCII or NCIII Certification
• With at least 3 years' experience in automotive repairs
• Preferably a senior technician or with prior experience as QCI in an automotive shop/center.
• Experience in heavy automotive works is a plus.
• Experience and know-how in auto-electrical works is an advantage (ex. aircon repair)
