What You'll Do:

The Senior Video Editor oversees the entire video production process, from initial planning and editing to the delivery of final assets across company platforms. Working closely with the marketing, creative, and content teams, this role produces both short- and long-form videos that align with brand guidelines and campaign goals. It demands advanced video editing expertise, strong visual storytelling abilities, and the capacity to work independently while strategically driving brand visibility, engagement, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edits educational content, training sessions, and boot camps for clarity, pacing, and brand consistency.
  • Applies branded assets (intros, lower-thirds, overlays, outros) and exports videos in platform-ready formats.
  • Repurposes videos for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts (30–90 seconds) with captions, graphics, and appropriate aspect ratios (1:1, 9:16, 16:9).
  • Collaborates with creative and marketing teams on video content strategy.
  • Produces highlight reels, promotional clips, and campaign-specific content for social media, courses, and landing pages.
  • Edits client and community testimonials into polished brand assets.
  • Maintains organized file systems and version control in shared cloud libraries.
  • Ensures all videos meet brand standards for quality, visual consistency, and tone.
  • Performs basic color correction, grading, and sound mixing.
  • Meets deadlines and suggests improvements or repurposing opportunities.
  • Stays updated on visual storytelling trends and platform best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience editing both short- and long-form videos for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Proven experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Audition.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, consistently delivering polished, brand-aligned outputs.
  • Produces video content aligned with brand voice, messaging, and platform specifications.
  • Applies effective pacing, music, motion graphics, captions, color correction, audio mixing, and file format optimization to enhance audience engagement.
  • Manages 3–5 video projects concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintains organized file structures, naming conventions, and version control systems (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox).
  • Collaborates effectively with cross-functional remote teams through timely, clear communication.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision, proactively contributing creative ideas and solutions.
  • Applies a marketing-oriented approach to video editing, focused on visibility, engagement, and audience retention.
