Key Responsilities :

Customer Service & Sales: Handle cash transactions and operate the register. Provide excellent customer service, assist patrons with product location, and screen calls/inquiries to forward medication questions to the Pharmacist.

Inventory & Merchandising: Manage the supply chain by receiving stock, processing returns and ensuring accurate inventory counts. Maintain a clean store environment, organize displays (planograms), and ensure the proper storage and dating (expiration dates) of all pharmaceutical products.

Dispensing & Administration: Provide direct assistance to the Pharmacist in preparing medication (counting, labeling) and adhering to Good Dispensing Practices. Execute necessary clerical duties, including maintaining patient files and handling general paperwork for compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of any 4-year college course, or at least two years of completed college education. Graduates of technical or vocational courses with Pharmacy Services NC II certification are preferred.
  • With at least 1 yr. of work experience.
  • Must have customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and trustworthy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Willing to work on holidays and weekends.
  • Amenable to work on shifting schedules and long hours.
