About the role:

YONDU INC.' is seeking a talented Java Developer (Mid to Senior) to join our dynamic team in Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications that drive our client's success. As an experienced Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and mentoring junior team members.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and implement Java-based applications and solutions that meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable software
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Continuously research and explore new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance the development process
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to help them grow their skills and contribute effectively to the team

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Java Developer, preferably in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Solid understanding of Java programming language, design patterns, and best practices
  • Proficient in developing Java-based applications using frameworks like Springboot, Hibernate etc.
  • Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Familiarity with SQL databases, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing
