I. Role Summary

The Jr. Quantity Surveyor position requires extensive experience in cost estimation for construction projects, working with contractors, and architects to provide the most cost-effective plans that meet high-quality standards. He/She has strong organizational and communication skills to manage and direct development plans.

II. Qualifications

a. Licensed Civil Engineer

b. Minimum 3 years of cost engineering/quantity surveying experience or in related field

c. Experience in cost control software and methodologies

d. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

e. Excellent written and oral communication skills

III. Job Description

a. Review construction drawings and raised requests for information if necessary.

b. Analyzing construction drawings, specifications, and project plans to determine material and labor cost

c. Review contracts and prepare necessary documents

d. Create detailed scopes of work for subcontractors and obtain competitive quotes.

e. Analyze costs for maintenance and additional construction needs.

f. Assist in project management, including overseeing daily tasks and monitoring progress

g. Process variations and price adjustments required during project execution

h. Create detailed scopes of work for subcontractors and obtain competitive quotes.

i. Keep track of construction materials and inventory

j. Identify potential financial or construction risks.

k. Advise management on improvements, strategies, and/ or estimated costs.

l. Evaluate and process progress billings of the contractors/ subcontractors

m. Source maintenance costs and facilities management as needed

n. Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors and subcontractors.

o. Utilize softwares for estimating (Bluebeam, Planswift, etc.,)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
