About the role

As the Leasing Manager at SM Supermalls, you will play a crucial role in managing the leasing operations for this premier shopping destination in Zamboanga City. This full-time position will be responsible for driving the commercial success of the mall through strategic tenant selection, lease negotiation, and ongoing relationship management.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive leasing strategy to optimize the tenant mix and enhance the mall's overall appeal
  • Identify and pursue potential tenants that align with the mall's positioning and target customer demographics
  • Negotiate and manage lease agreements, ensuring terms are competitive and favorable to the company
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns that drive foot traffic and sales for tenants
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform leasing decisions
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing tenants, addressing any concerns and facilitating their business growth

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in commercial real estate leasing, preferably within the retail or shopping center industry
  • Proven track record of negotiating and managing successful lease agreements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with tenants and stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Real Estate, or a related field
