  • Prepares cost calculation sheet for quotation to customer
  • Sourcing new and alternative parts is required during costing to save cost and maximize profitability.
  • Negotiate with the supplier to obtain materials at the best prices by using strategic sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of our commodities.
  • Effectively recommend other options pertaining to required materials and processes for costing.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest information that impacts the costing formula and provide accurate information promptly to customers.
  • Monitor and review data and information to detect or assess problems and investigates and identify cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis.
  • Coordinate with concerned departments and Managers to discuss cost changes.
  • Resolves complaints and answers questions from customers regarding cost and other related matters.
  • Reviews and checks prices of the Website for accuracy and content, and verify with Purchasing for correctness of parts material.
  • Ensuring that quotation and costing are submitted within the allowable time 24hrs upon receipt of the Official Client inquiry or request.
  • Do other jobs assign by a superior from time to time?
  • Observe 5s in the designated work area.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering or any similar field.
  • Experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in analysis work in Excel & any related system.
  • High sense of urgency and can interface with different levels of positions in the organization
  • Excellent communication skills and is a team player
  • High analytical ability and assertiveness
  • Willing to work on shifting schedule as the need arise
