Care+Center Clinic, a respected healthcare provider, is seeking a committed Medical Technologist to join our staff in Olongapo City, Zambales. This full-time role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical services and promoting patient health.

Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties and responsibilities shall be performed by the assigned Medical Technologist with their respective Key Results Area and Key Performance Indicators.

Key Results Area (1) Preparations - 30%

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensures the completeness of all needed laboratory reagents and supplies.
  • Proper maintenance of all machines and equipment.
  • Maintains cleanliness in the working area.

Key Results Area (2) Operations - 40%

Key Performance Indicators

  • Ensures traceability of all specimens collected in the laboratory.
  • Performs all required laboratory examinations, ensuring that they are being done with utmost accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor the reliability and accuracy of each test run by doing quality control
  • Strictly adheres to maintaining the confidentiality of all laboratory results.
  • Prepares specimens for send-out and coordinates with the concerned laboratory for pick-up and release of results.
  • Strictly observes the standards for aseptic technique and universal precautions, as well as proper storage and disposal of infectious waste and/or sharps.

Key Results Area (3) Administrative - 30%

  • Ensures timely reporting of results and that results are correct and accurate.
  • Preparation of Requests for reagents and needed supplies.
  • Check the monthly statement of account for sending out.
  • Conducts periodic inventory of reagents and supplies.
What We're Looking For
  • A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of working experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Can work with minimal supervision.
  • Customer service-oriented.
