Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support our operations. Responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload cargo efficiently and safely within our warehouse and terminal areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to transport cargo, containers, pallets, and other materials within the facility.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
  • Stack and organize cargo in designated locations to optimize space and workflow.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance to ensure safe operation.
  • Verify cargo documentation and ensure accurate handling and placement.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to fulfill cargo movement schedules.
  • Follow safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or hazards.
  • Assist in inventory counts and cargo tracking using warehouse management systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas and equipment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-compliant or local equivalent).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or cargo environment.
  • Familiarity with cargo handling procedures and safety standards.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in fast-paced, physically demanding conditions.
  • Basic understanding of inventory systems and cargo documentation.
