Buyer

The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, or services to meet the company's operational requirements. This role involves evaluating suppliers, managing inventory levels, maintaining cost-efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to company standards and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure the best value.

• Issue purchase orders and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future supply needs.

• Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

• Resolve issues with suppliers regarding delivery delays, quality concerns, or invoice discrepancies.

• Stay updated on market trends, supplier conditions, and new products or services.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Agent, or in a similar procurement role.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of supply chain procedures and cost-saving strategies.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
